Chris Sails

Contemporary R&B vocalist and rapper Chris Sails, a native of Detroit, Michigan, cultivated an online audience as one-half of ChrisandQueen with Queen Naija. The duo became a popular social media draw via YouTube, with well over two million accounts subscribed to their vlogging channel. During 2017, a handful of their duets -- "Maybe," "Secret Girl," and "Breaking Bread" -- were commercially released on streaming platforms and as digital downloads. By the end of the year, Sails and Naija had split, and they each continued to record as solo artists. "Broke Her Heart," "Me and You," and "Letter to My Ex" were released as Sails' first singles in 2018. ~ Andy Kellman
