The boy band iKON got its start—like many of its K-pop brethren—on a South Korean reality-TV show in 2013: YG Entertainment’s “WIN: Who Is Next”. The outfit debuted in 2015 with Welcome Back, a gleeful pop/hip-hop/electronic hybrid that came out swinging with the high-energy singles “Rhythm Ta” and “Dumb & Dumber”. The 2018 follow-up Return cemented the group’s versatility with the mellow chart-topper “Love Scenario”. After the scandal-plagued departure of bandleader B.I, iKON took a brief hiatus before returning to form with the lighthearted, sweet i DECIDE EP in early 2020.
