About Víctimas del Doctor Cerebro

Mexican alternative band Víctimas del Doctor Cerebro started playing under the name of Tecnopal by the end of the 1980s, led by El Chipotle and El Abulón. When drummer El Bruja and guitarist El Destroyer joined, the name of the band was changed; they soon recorded their debut album, Tecnopal. After signing up to EMI Latin, the group moved to California to make their follow-up record. That self-titled album, issued in 1993, included Víctimas del Doctor Cerebro's "El Esqueleto," which became the group's first hit, with its video frequently rotated by MTV Latino. In 1995, Brujerías was released, followed by 1997's Boutique 2000. ~ Drago Bonacich
