About NGHTMRE
Though he started with hard-hitting bass tunes, NGHTMRE has proven himself one of the most diverse producers in electronic music. He’s scored hits with rappers, pop stars, and fellow DJs. • Growing up in North Carolina, Tyler Marenyi attended a Christian school and played on the tennis team. He also earned a degree in finance before studying production at ICON Academy. • While at ICON, he met close collaborators Slander, with whom he now runs the Gud VIbrations record label and radio show. • He earned his first charting single in 2016 with the moombah-laced house-pop hit “Need You”, alongside DJ and producer Dillon Francis. It reached No. 21 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Electronic Songs chart, as did his bass-heavy 2018 collaboration with The Chainsmokers, “Save Yourself”. • “Bang”, with Shaquille O’Neal and Lil Jon, broke NGHTMRE into the world of rap collaborations. He’s since worked with A$AP Ferg, Gunna, Torey Lanez and others.
