In the artist’s words: What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gary Stewart, Out of Hand Sturgill Simpson, The Ballad of Dood & Juanita Willi Carlisle, Peculiar, Missouri Gary Stewart will always be the king of the honky tonks. This album is an absolute masterpiece. Sturgill Simpson is one of the best storytellers of all time. It’s a perfect concept album. Carlisle music feels like poetry. Tell us why you chose this song. “Talking Hetero Blues” It’s an interesting little story about being queer in a rural place. I think it’s important to keep alive the tradition of talking blues songs. It’s a great medium to tell a story through What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I played my first show a little over a year ago now, and it was something I’ve wanted to do for as long as i can remember. It’s an amazing feeling to get to share your songs with people. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to release a full length album. That would be a big milestone. Another would be getting it printed on vinyl. I’m a big fan of record collecting and it would be really special to hear my own songs through a record player
