Denita Gibbs

Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, contemporary gospel singer Denita Gibbs knew that music was to be her calling at the age of seven. She spent her formative years honing her faith and her vocal chops, eventually growing into an explosive modern praise & worship singer in the vein of Yolanda Adams, Angie Stone, and Mary Mary. She released her debut album, Worthy, in 2004, and in 2011 inked a deal with Audiostate 55 Entertainment, who would go on to release her acclaimed sophomore outing, Without You, the following year. ~ James Christopher Monger
