TV-2 Essentials

Formed in 1981, TV-2 are known for modern, ‘80s-style pop-rock with synthesisers, drum machines, driving harmonies and an undeniable sing-along quality. The anthemic "Bag duggede ruder", with its beaming synths and showstopping guitar solo, is considered one of Denmark's top musical exports. Helmed by lead singer Steffen Brandt—one of the country's most highly regarded lyricists—TV-2 perform with an arresting directness. The foursome continued to produce hits in the ‘90s and ‘00s, too. Updating their sound but staying true to themselves, TV-2 are still going strong today.
