A popular Danish singer/songwriter who sings in English, Tim Christensen embarked on his solo career in 2000, after tasting success as lead singer and guitarist of '90s Danish alternative rock band Dizzy Mizz Lizzy. The band were influenced by American grunge and produced hits like the melancholic "Love Is a Loser's Game" from their eponymous debut album. After Dizzy Mizz Lizzy disbanded, Christensen turned to a more pared-down, guitar-based rock style, whether electric or acoustic. His biggest hit to date is 2008's “Superior”, which wears its Beatles influence on its sleeve.
