The Dirtbombs Essentials

The Dirtbombs were launched by prolific Detroit garage rocker Mick Collins in the early '90s, and the group has been kicking out funky, noisy jams ever since. While the band's sound is rooted in the dirty riffs of classic '60s garage, Collins has never been content to play by anyone's rules, and The Dirtbombs' catalogue ranges from a fuzzed-out album of vintage soul covers, 2001's Ultraglide in Black, to a collection devoted to offbeat renditions of classic techno tracks, 2011's Party Store. This playlist of grimy anthems features The Dirtbombs at their hard-rocking best.
