Rubén Pozo Essentials

Whether as part of the duo Pereza, the band Buenas Noches Rose or solo, Rubén Pozo has been one of the most heartfelt voices in Spanish rock 'n' roll for over two decades. Pereza provided a huge stage for Pozo's rootsy, Rolling Stones-influenced guitar work—the group was one of the country's biggest rock acts of the '00s. In 2012, Pozo released his solo debut, Lo Que Más, to widespread acclaim, with its stripped-down singer/songwriter sound a memorable evolution from Pereza's bolder pop-rock. On 2017 album Habrá Que Vivir, he returned to his familiar guitar anthems and freewheeling solos.
