One of the most successful Danish alt-rock units of the '90s, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy relied on fuzzy grunge riffs, relentless prog-rock percussion and emo lyrics to win the Danish Rock Competition in 1993. Led by guitarist and vocalist Tim Christensen, the trio were soon signed to a major label, going five-times Platinum with their self-titled debut thanks to hit singles like “Barbedwired Baby's Dream” and “Glory”. Citing fatigue, the group disbanded in 1998, but their tremendous influence has been recognised in recent years, motivating successful reunion tours.
