Hailing from Norway, deLillos are one of the most adored local bands of the '80s. Their fun, energetic style, with lyrics mostly in Norwegian, brought a new approach to Scandinavian rock. Their 1986 debut album Suser avgårde is one of their most popular, and included hook-laden hit “Tøff I Pyjamas”, with its riffing guitars and emotive chorus. Their style, of poppy hooks beneath massive guitars and crashing drums, is in evidence on “Neste Sommer”, while things can get folksy and mellow, too, as in the acoustic number “Vår”.
