Charley Pride was country through and through, but he had a gospel-tinged streak to his music as well. It comes through clear and strong on the brotherly ballad "All His Children" from the celebrated film adaptation of Sometimes A Great Notion, and it leaps right out at you on the jubilant, spiritual stomper "Let Me Live."
