In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started my musical life on the piano, and one of the first things I ever learned to play was the "Happy Birthday" song. I was probably about 3 years old and I surprised my mom. The way she lit up was like gas in my tank :)) Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Wildflower” As a classical musician, this work that Arturo Sandoval wrote for me is a type of music that I don't often get to play. It's lush, gorgeous, super satisfying, and a blast to play. A total pleasure on all fronts. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The world premiere and live recording of Jennifer Higdon's Harp Concerto was definitely a moment. It was so exhilarating to step out onto the metaphorical edge and create something entirely new.
