The Reflectors

The old-school, lovelorn power pop of L.A.'s the Reflectors evokes the raw urgency of style-setters like the Raspberries and the Nerves. They emerged with the full-length First Impression in 2020. Instead of Eric Carmen, the Reflectors are led by guitarist James Carman, who formed the group with guitarist/vocalist Nick Faciane, bassist Ryan Miranda (bass), and drummer Johnny Reyes. They signed on with independent labels Time for Action Records (Europe) and Burger Records (elsewhere) for their debut album, First Impression. Featuring production by Johnny Bell, it arrived on a variety of formats, including vinyl and cassette, in May of 2020. ~ Marcy Donelson
