In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memories are going through my Mum and Dad’s old 45’s and especially putting on Beatles singles. The excitement and energy they generated on their records just hit me from a very early age. And I've loved them since I can remember. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Elliott Smith, Xo The Beatles, The Beatles (The White Album) The Smiths, Meat Is Murder Every Beatle album overshadows everything else for me, impossible to just choose one so I've chosen the most eclectic. I was from Manchester and the perfect age when The Smiths were around. And Elliott Smith is the sound of how I feel inside. Tell us why you chose this song. “As Viola Sings...” I love the subtly poetic lyrics to this song and I think it's got a beautiful melody. It's a complex song emotionally. Coming out of a dark period after losing someone to then find yourself again. But still desperately needing the person you lost.
