“I’m a stone cold monster,” SNOW WIFE rasps on her viral megahit “AMERICAN HORROR SHOW”. Her raunchy single did, indeed, herald the arrival of a new enfant terrible on the pop scene. The vocalist and lyricist, born Emily Snow in Houston in 2002, arrived in 2023 as a fully realised artist with a sound that blended raw rap, bubblegum pop and queer club music into an addicting mix. Her upbringing in the capital of rap in the Southwest shows in the hint of a drawl that creeps into her delivery as she reels off bars about sex, drugs and good times. With her playful confidence, it’s hard to believe SNOW WIFE hadn’t been dreaming of a career as a singer since childhood, but the bleach-blonde bombshell is a trained dancer who found her distinctive, husky voice after moving to Los Angeles.
