In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a kid I used to go to the library and download CDs onto my MP3-player (remember those days?). Sometimes I would randomly try a new album, and that's how I by chance became first mover at my school on Jessie J, one of my big moments as a pre-teen What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Julia Jacklin, Crushing Lucy Dacus, Home Video Mitski, Puberty 2 Mitski, Lucy Dacus and Julia Jacklin all have startlingly beautiful vocals that just completely penetrate my defenses. In my writing I have sought inspiration their melodic and lyrical languages, which I find somehow both expansive and intimate. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Token” Token is one of the first songs I wrote, from the place inside me where truth seeks shelter. I was very heart-broken at the time, but somehow this song helped me find streght in my own vulnerability. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When we recorded Halloween Party I sat down at this old detuned piano and just started playing. It felt like the song rewrote itself, and being able to share the trauma of the song through that moment of music just reminds me that I am not alone. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Oh yes definitely! I feel like I'm only just starting to know myself as a musician. One of my big dreams is to go on tour in the US, and being from Denmark I obviously hope to play Roskilde Festival one day:)
