In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Grew up in a musical home. My father has a huge collection of LP records and cassettes, that I used to listen to and imagined myself performing those songs. I started collecting my own cassettes in 1997, and my first gig was at a wedding in 2002. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? DJ Fresh (SA), House Afrika: Fresh House Flava, Vol. 1 (DJ Mix) Nkanyezi Kubheka, House of Piano, Vol. 1 The O'Jays, The Essential O'Jays Fresh House Flava Vol. 1 was my first ever cassette I bought & my love for house music started from there. The O'jays bring back all my childhood memories, I use to perform these songs in front of the mirror. House of Piano Vol. 1 is my debut album. KDD & Sylvester)” Journey is one of the best songs I ever worked on. The story behind the song, and the lyrics, inspire me every single day to keep going, and do greater things. My latest accolade in 2020, was being crowned the “Budweiser King of the Decks” where I performed at Ultra South Africa's main stage alongside world-class DJs, Afrojack, Steve Aoki, DJ Snake and Dash Berlin.
