Melissa Horn is a Swedish contemporary singer/songwriter who made her Top Ten hit album debut in 2008 with Långa Nätter. Born Astrid Melissa Edwarda Horn Weitzberg on April 8, 1987, she is the daughter of Maritza Horn, a Swedish vocalist who appeared in ABBA - The Movie (1977) and subsequently embarked on a decade-long recording career. Upon signing a major-label recording deal with Sony BMG, Horn made her solo album debut in 2008 with Långa Nätter. The album was a Top Ten hit and spawned the singles "Långa Nätter," "En Famn För Mig," and "Som Jag Hade Dig Förut," the latter a duet with Lars Winnerbäck. ~ Jason Birchmeier
