In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The earliest memories I have are from my hometown carnival in Basel, Switzerland. Every year the Carnival starts at 4am with music. All lights go out in the city and only the lanterns from the participants are lit. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Casper, XOXO Kummer, KIOX twenty one pilots, Trench Trench redefined storytelling in music for me. To build an own world around their Album is genius. XOXO shines with melancholic instrumentation and the rap from Casper hits too close to home. KIOX is the best critical display of society ever. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Gramps” Gramps is my tribute to my late grandpa. A song about the struggles at the end and all of the beauty that led up to it. The instrumentation with the strings and ukulele is soft, warm and lively, just like my grandpa was. The lyrics tell a true story. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My first gig was at an open mic in my hometown in Basel infront of roughly 30 people. The first time I played my vulnerable songs to strangers. I almost didn't go but many came up to me after and said how inspiring my music is. That was so beautiful. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Definitely producing an album and putting it out in the world. Also I'd like to play more shows in the future and connect with people. My ultimate goal is to make a living from my music. That journey will be long, steep and very exciting.
