About Maggie Lindemann

Indie-pop singer Maggie Lindemann started posting on social media when she was 14. Her professional career essentially began two years later, in 2015, when a former record executive saw her singing an intentionally shaky version of “The Star Spangled Banner” on Instagram and brought her to LA from suburban Dallas. • Lindemann’s debut single, “Knocking on Your Heart”, jumped into the iTunes Top 20 just 24 hours after she released it in September 2015. • She cites Lana Del Rey, Banks, and Spooky Black as influences for what Lindemann has called an “anti-pop” outlook unconcerned with mainstream acclaim. • By 2020, Lindemann had released 10 singles, launched a clothing line, and begun work on her first LP. • After releasing a version of her ska-influenced song “Friends Go” in May 2019, Lindemann put out another version of the song that July with Travis Barker of blink-182 on drums.
