In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Me and a bunch of friends and bandmates used to travel to Kristiansand in our teens, checking out jazz shows. Especially the legendary Norwegian bands Håkon Kornstad Trio and Come Shine made a solid impact on me - and I'm still a fan to this day! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Glenn Gould, Glenn Gould Plays Bach: Goldberg Variations, BWV 988 (The Historic 1955 Debut Recording & The 1981 Digital Recording) Jan Johansson, Jazz På Svenska Ólafur Arnalds, some kind of peace Jazz på Svenska sums up the Scandinavian way of life. I can play it at Chrismas, Summer or whenever - always works. Glenn Gould's Goldberg Variations recordings never left my heart. Olafur's album has been with me daily since it released. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lullatown” This song is about walking home through empty city streets in the middle of the night. It might be the quietest and softest song I ever made, and it has just stuck with me as something I appreciate the presence of. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to share stage with great Susanne Sundfør and Thomas Dybdahl at the great Oslo festival Piknik i Parken's mini-festival just after everything opened again after Covid was a big thing for me! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Some day I'd like to have played the piano at all continents.
