Ali Farka Touré, Toumani Diabaté, Ali & Toumani Cornel Campbell, SOOTHSAYERS, Nothing Can Stop Us (Cornell Campbell Meets SOOTHSAYERS) The Pharcyde, Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde Ali Farka Toure's guitar and Toumani's kora playing are massively inspiring to me. Pharcyde because thats my young Hip hop self and Soothsayers are my musical family. Recording and touring this record was a great chapter in my journey here. This piece was inspired by a late night swim in Louch Hyne famous for its 'sparkles' with my then young family. Watching the ecstatic enjoyment they had diving through underwater stars.
