In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is humming and singing along to the scores from shows and films I would watch as a kid. I would try to re-sing them or rearrange them and then create concerts with my sister. Looking back it was such a pure love! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aaliyah, Aaliyah Lupe Fiasco, Lupe Fiasco's the Cool Various Artists, Projections: John Williams The Cool: an elite album in one of my favorite genre's which encapsulates rapping & musicality at the highest level. Aaliyah's self titled is masterful & emotional; it saved my life. John Williams is the GOAT: a wizard of musical genius I aspire to. Benjamin Earl Turner & Tommy Sketch)” I love this record because it's so raw and emotional. There's potency in leaning into who I am & living with confidence. And it's freeing to be unapologetically me. This song captures that perfectly. Plus 100 points for the incredible features! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments so far was touring with Lupe Fiasco. Experiencing the last show of the tour and performing to a sold out crowd in my city was unbelievable. It was a surreal moment & my DJ & I brought an earth-shattering performance. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My bucket list has almost too many to name! On this list is definitely performing at the LA Philharmonic, a sold out international tour in major venues, creating with the greats, winning a GRAMMY or 5, and creating a score for a major motion picture.
