About Jeanine De Bique

Soprano Jeanine De Bique emerged in the early 2020s with appearances at the Theater an der Wien, the Teatro del Liceu in Barcelona, and other major European houses. She has a large repertory but has made several major appearances in Baroque opera and in the music of Mozart. After finishing her studies, De Bique won a place in the house ensemble at the Staatsoper in Vienna and appeared at various European opera houses. The year 2017 brought two breakthrough performances for De Bique; she appeared at the Salzburg Festival in a highly publicized production of Mozart's La clemenza di Tito, and at the BBC Proms, she joined the Chineke! Orchestra in a performance of Handel's "Rejoice Greatly." De Bique has made various concert appearances, including at the Aspen Music Festival in Colorado. In 2021, she released her debut album, Mirrors, with Concerto Köln.
