About Jean-Paul Gasparian
One of France's rising pianists in the late 2010s and early 2020s decades, Jean-Paul Gasparian specializes in mainstream Romantic repertory. He has been heard widely at European festivals. A career-builder was a last-minute substitution for an ailing Christian Zacharias in Germany in 2018. That year, Gasparian earned an artist's diploma from the Royal College of Music and issued a debut album devoted to music by Rachmaninov. In 2021, he was nominated in the category of Soloist Revelation at France's Victoires de la musique classique awards. The following year, he issued the album Rachmaninoff.
