About DJ Tommy

DJ Tommy is a turntablist from Hong Kong who was a member of the Cantonese hip-hop group LMF from 1998-2003. Born in Hong Kong in 1971, he won the DMC Hong Kong Championship for turntablists in 1991, 1992, and 1996. Also during this period, he regularly competed at the Technics World DJ Championship, finishing in the Top Ten in 1992, 1996, and 1997. In 1998 he joined the lineup of the Cantonese hip-hop collective LMF (aka Lazymuthafucka), performing on their albums Lazymuthafucka (1999), Dai Ran Tong (2000), and LMFAMIGLIA (2001). He also toured internationally with the group until its 2003 breakup. As a solo artist, he released the album Respect 4 da Chopstick Hip Hop (2001). ~ Jason Birchmeier
