About Colonel Loud

A travelin' man, MC Colonel Loud was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and launched his career in Goldsboro, North Carolina, and then broke through in 2015 thanks to a single called "California." Loud began his career with a series of solo mixtapes before he was picked up my mixtape host DJ Izzo. In 2014, he released the "Celebrate" single featuring Lil Scrappy and Chris Mills, while Pastor Troy and Project Pat appeared on that year's mixtape Old Money, New Money. A year later, he climbed the chart with the travelog track "California," which featured Young Dolph and Ricco Barrino, along with T.I on the remix. The Plug Talk mixtape also landed in 2015, while 2016 saw the release of the "No Ratchets" single featuring Ricco Barrino -- The California EP rounded up all of the track's remixes. He then joined T. Neal on his 2016 single "Come to the Money." ~ David Jeffries
