Zuzanna Irena Jurczak—better known as sanah, from her English name Susannah—is blessed with more talent than you can shake a stick at. She’s a singer with distinctive textured tones as well as a songwriter, composer and violinist who’s as adept at hushed ballads as she is at indie pop earworms. Her 2020 single “Szampan”, a blissfully introspective foot-tapper, topped the charts in her native Poland—as did her debut album, Królowa dram. And more well-received work has followed, including 2021’s beloved dreamy ode to marriage, “ten Stan”.
