Even back when they were jokingly calling themselves Mookie Blaylock, after the basketball all-star, Pearl Jam were already a live force to be reckoned with. Guitarist Stone Gossard and bassist Jeff Ament's years in the pioneering grunge act Green River gave them stage chops that newer bands couldn't compete with, and Eddie Vedder's electrifying charisma is undeniable.
