Miss Kittin Essentials

The French DJ and producer first broke through on the dance scene in 1998 when she collaborated with The Hacker on Kraftwerk-inspired single “1982”. By the time of I Com, her debut solo album in 2004, she was incorporating elements of Chicago house and punk, as heard on the thunderous “Requiem for a Hit”. While remaining true to her electroclash roots, Miss Kittin has maintained her cult status by adding elements of industrial techno to her sound, and via collaborations with other EDM artists, such as British house DJ Riton on the warped electro track “Girls in the Hood”.
