Johann Sebastian Bach: Undiscovered

Johann Sebastian Bach: Undiscovered

Bach supposedly once said, “I worked hard. Anyone who works as hard as I did can achieve the same results.” Very modest, Johann Sebastian, but how true is that? To give you an idea of how much music J.S. Bach wrote in his lifetime, there’s more than 10 hours’ worth of organ works alone, not to mention the sublime cantatas he churned out more or less every week during his various employments, the bulk of which were composed in Leipzig (and of which more than 200 survive).
