As the son of telenovela star Verónica Castro and venerated comedian Manuel “El Loco” Valdés, Cristian Castro was destined for stardom. But it was the green-eyed singer's dazzling talent, first displayed on his Agua Nueva LP, that made him the Mexico's official '90s pop idol.
