Created by Austrian author Elfie Donnelly, the talking elephant who lives at Neustadt Zoo has been the star of his own kids’ audio play series (and several animated films) since 1977 and he always manages to find a novel adventure. Over more than 150 episodes, the pleasant pachyderm—whose best pals are the sensible Otto and the headstrong Stella—has become known for his knack at learning new jobs, discovering new places and uttering his famous “Toroo!” call.
