Two of techno's most revered producers, brothers Wolfgang and Reinhard Voigt began releasing material together in 2002, when the Cologne, Germany natives contributed both tracks to Kompakt's third Speicher release. Within a few months, they provided both sides of Speicher 5. After Speicher 10 (2003) and Speicher 22 (2004), their output slowed, with only Speicher 54 (2007) and Speicher 69 (2011) added throughout the following several years. Activity picked up in 2012 with the beginning of their club-oriented Erdingertrax 12" series. The first three releases preceded Die Zauberhafte Welt der Anderen, an album of all-new cinematic material released in 2013. ~ Andy Kellman
