Known for his involvement with a number of Bay Area indie bands, including the Fresh & Onlys and Magic Trick, Tim Cohen has been a major figure in the city's psychedelic/garage revival scene dating back to the early 2000s. Beginning with his 2009 debut, Two Sides of Tim Cohen, his solo releases tend to be more intimate in nature but still loose and steeped in psychedelic and retro pop. He made his solo Captured Tracks debut with second full-length Laugh Tracks in 2010, moved to Sinderlyn beginning with 2017's Luck Man, and issued his seventh solo album, 2021's You Are Still Here, on Madrid-based Bobo Integral. ~ Marcy Donelson
