In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first musical memories writing song are all on a little red plastic swing that stood in our garden. I would always go out and swing after school and create melodies and soon words came to me to fill the melodies with sense and emotions. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Hozier, Unreal Unearth Tom Odell, Black Friday dodie, Build A Problem These three albums changed my perspective on music but also the human mind. Dodie was my queer awakening, Tom Odell's storytelling is sensational and Hozier's conceptualising is inspiring - I love these so much lyrically as well as musically. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I met a really young queer person that first listened to a cover of "I'll Always Kiss Girls" at a pride parade in their hometown, then discovered my album "Rainbow" and fell in love with it. I just couldn't believe someone covers my music. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I definitely would love to have my songs on vinyl one day - that's been a dream of mine for a long time. Other than that I would just love to reach as many people as possible and spread awareness about the life of queer youth right now.
