In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Putting on CD's from my parents collection, feeling every note & every phrase. I was the easiest child to babysit, because even at 3 years old, all she would have to do was put on MuchMusic & I would sit on the couch watching music videos for hours. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Depeche Mode, Violator (Deluxe) Bonus Tracks Edition The Cure, Disintegration 2010 Remaster The Smashing Pumpkins, Siamese Dream The Smashing Pumpkins were my first favourite band. I found Depeche Mode when I was 15 & they quickly became my second most beloved band of all time. The cure: I'll never grow tired of being in complete awe of Robert Smith's masterful take on music. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mourning Tonight” I'd been suffering the loss of a beloved friend & needed something to dance to. It's one of my favourite tracks from the upcoming album. The juxtaposition of pulsating dance beats, minor chords & lyrical content really helped me escape the darkness. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I played the Special Olympics many years ago & was crying on stage from the amount of gratitude and love, like laser beams of serotonin! I will never forget that incredible feeling. Most gracious audience of all time. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My bucket list is still very long. I have many more songs to write, albums to record, countries to tour. Continue to expand, meld and explore genres in my own writing. Maybe even produce another artists' album someday.
