NOVELISTS

A shape-shifting metalcore/djent quintet based out of Paris, France, Novelists pair punishing riffs and breakdowns with elements of jazz and progressive rock, invoking names like Periphery, Alcest, and Architects. Formed around the talents of vocalist Matt Gelsomino, drummer Amael Durand, bassist Nicolas Delestrade, and guitarists Florestan Durand and Charly Kelevra, the group issued its debut full-length outing, Souvenirs, via Arising Empire/Nuclear Blast in 2015.
