In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is hearing my parents playing 'Old Friends' by Simon & Garfunkel when I was in bed at night & thinking how incredibly beautiful and sad it was at the same time. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Joanna Newsom, Have One On Me Magnet, Paul Giovanni, The Wicker Man (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Nick Drake, Way to Blue: An Introduction to Nick Drake I chose a Newsom double album simply to give a first time listener more listening time. I chose a Nick Drake compliation which highlights much of his melancholic talent. I chose Wicker as a strange, very british nu-folk album with an eccentric edge. Tell us why you chose this song. “Simple Jayne (With Morning Blackbirds)” Simple Jayne is a song of mine which was discovered by the wonderful french singer called Catherine Hershey. She loved the song so much she sang a new vocal in her parisian bedroom with notes of bird song streaming in through the windows.
