In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Contrary to popular belief about the black household, my parents didn't play music in our house in Columbus, GA. It wasn't until temporarily relocating to New York that I was exposed to rap music and hip hop culture. And of course, I fell in love... What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Michael Jackson, Off the Wall Sade, The Best of Sade (Remaster) The S.O.S. Band, Best of The S.O.S. Band As a true music lover, I listen to more than rap or what's new. I also been told that I'm an old soul. I discovered a love for different genres of music by searching for samples at pawn shops, etc. These 3 should be in every real music collection! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “B.I.T.C.H. (Remix)” Most of my favorites are from my time with Universal (unreleased masters they own) and the new stuff coming soon, but my "B.I.T.C.H." song was before Megan the Stallion's and is the first song I wrote after being brutally robbed and left for dead. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I have so many memorable moments, but choosing just one, it was writing with MC Lyte. She's such a legend, one of my favorites, and I had a huge crush on. Still DO! I played it cool, but I was actually starstruck the entire session... Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I don't know...I rubbed elbows with some of the greatest in the game, produced and wrote songs for music playing around the world and gainfully active as a musician, regardless of how famous or not I ever become. All that's left is to drop a CLASSIC!
