Henri Casadesus

About Henri Casadesus

Casadesus, a member of a French family of musicians, studied at the Paris Conservatoire and won the first prize in 1899 for viola. In addition to composing, he founded the Société des Instruments Anciens Casadesus in 1901 in collaboration with Saint-Saëns. He also wrote a treatise and studies for the viola d'amore. ~ Lynn Vought
