Gilles Ragon is a French tenor who has sung frequently on the various operatic stages of his native country. Among his roles are the title role of Rameau's Platée, Prince Sou-Chong in The Land of Smiles, Ferrando in Così fan tutte, Andrès in Les contes d'Hoffmann, Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia, Andres in Wozzeck, Lindoro in L'Italiana in Algeri, and le remendado in Carmen. He has sung in Avignon, Metz, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Geneva, and the Opéra-Bastile in Paris.
