In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 4 years old I would listen to side one of the Bb minor piano concerto by Tchaikovsky over and over again. I loved that melody played by the orchestra and then the piano as it came in with dramatic chords. Beauty remains lifelong. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Danny Antonelli, I'd Rather Be Lucky (Remaster 2022) This remastered version is not just political and philosophical, it’s got the same darkness and light that my new album The Universe of Me carries forward. Tell us why you chose this song. “Livin' the Good Life” It’s heavily autobiographical and sums up the album Mother’s Little Burden. If you can’t give pieces of your soul to the listener, then why are you writing? What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My first #1 hit song, O Rapaz Do Cubo Magico, sung by Lara Li in Portugal was a rock song I originally wrote in English. The Portuguese lyrics were about a kid who always plays with his Rubik’s Cube and totally frustrates the girl who likes him. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I already wrote the song Bucket Full of Blues. It’s on the Evil Eye album (which is also available as vinyl).
