Christoph Croisé

About Christoph Croisé

Christoph Croisé has emerged as one of Europe's fastest-rising young cellists, with a large variety of world-class collaborators listed on his CV by his early twenties. Even in an age of competition profusion, Croisé's list of competition prizes is impressive. Croisé made his recording debut in 2015, backing pianist Oxana Shevchenko on a recital. His solo debut came in 2018, joining the chamber orchestra I Tempi on an album of music by Othmar Schoeck. Croisé remained active in the early 2020s, issuing The Solo Album (with works exclusively for solo cello) in 2021, a complete recording of the cello-and-piano works of Joachim Raff in 2022, and the recital Voyage Exotique in 2023. He also reunited that year with Shevchenko, releasing the album 1883: R. Strauss, Grieg, Fauré.
