About Barbara Carlotti

Barbara Carlotti made her recording debut in 2005 with the mini-album Chansons on the independent label Microbe. The album was well-received and led to a recording contract with 4AD/Beggars Group. Carlotti made her full-length debut in 2006 with Les Lys Brisés; the album's "Cannes" proved especially popular and was licensed for television use. Also in 2006, she appeared as a duet partner on the chart-topping album Michel Delpech & (on the song "Et Paul Chantait") as well as on the Bertrand Belin album La Perdue ("L'Aube Posée"). Carlotti then collaborated with Olivier Libaux on his album Imbécile (2007) before collaborating with producer Jean-Philippe Verdin on L'Idéal (2008). ~ Jason Birchmeier
