Born Miguel Vargas Jiménez in Seville, Bambino revolutionised the Cuban-influenced rumba flamenco style in the early '60s with his powerful and passionate voice. Bambino's extensive repertoire includes flamenco adaptations of Mexican rancheras, boleros and Latin hits, to which he added a dramatic, almost overwhelmingly sincere personal stamp.
