The Dustbowl Revival Essentials

The Dustbowl Revival Essentials

Since their arrival in the late ‘00s, The Dustbowl Revival have tied together multiple strands of American musical tradition while updating those conventions in the process. The eight-members-strong L.A. band boast a horn section on top of their folk/bluegrass core, and over the years they've managed to develop a sound that shifts seamlessly between styles. They can jump from the slinky, brass-punctuated soul-funk of "Hey Baby" to the fiddle-fired backyard stomp of "Never Had to Go" to the New Orleans-inflected jazz burn of "John the Revelator" without even breaking a sweat.
