It’s the versatility in P T K’s music that makes him a force to be reckoned with in the Czech rap underground. The MC from Cheb sounds just as comfortable bumping and grinding to the stuttering rhythms of early-’00s hip-hop (“NABIJ MI TEN SMOKE”) as he does riding on the melodic melancholy of cuts such as “Povolání snů” and “ZMRDI-HOODY”, whose haunting piano lines suggest influence by the drama of classical music. On top of it all, P T K seals the deal with his delivery: bassy, woozy and slightly offbeat, gifting every song with a beguiling magnetism.
